„Îndrăgostit lulea” de Tessa Bailey m-a surprins plăcut și m-a ținut captivată de la început până la sfârșit. Este o poveste care explorează complexitatea relațiilor dintre prieteni și cum acestea pot evolua în moduri neașteptate și frumoase.
Personajele principale, Hannah și Fox, sunt excelent conturate și aduc la viață o poveste plină de emoție și pasiune. Hannah, venită în oraș cu echipa de filmare, găsește un aliat în Fox, prietenul ei de încredere, pe care îl folosește inițial pentru a-l face gelos pe regizorul de care este îndrăgostită. Cu toate acestea, timpul petrecut împreună dezvăluie sentimente mult mai profunde decât prietenia.
Fox este un personaj fascinant, cu o prezență magnetică. Este genul de bărbat care atrage atenția prin ochii săi albaștri, brațele lucrate și energia sa debordantă. Inițial, pare să fie un playboy care evită relațiile serioase, dar, pe măsură ce povestea evoluează, descoperim un bărbat vulnerabil, care luptă cu propriile prejudecăți și temeri.

The main characters, Hannah and Fox, are excellently crafted and bring to life a story full of emotion and passion. Hannah, arriving in town with a film crew, finds an ally in Fox, her trusted friend, whom she initially uses to make the director she’s infatuated with jealous. However, the time they spend together reveals feelings much deeper than friendship.
Fox is a fascinating character with a magnetic presence. He’s the kind of man who catches your eye with his piercing blue eyes, strong arms, and exuberant energy. At first glance, he seems like a playboy avoiding serious relationships, but as the story unfolds, we discover a vulnerable man battling his own insecurities and fears.
What I loved most about this book is the dynamic between Hannah and Fox. From friendship to flirtation, their relationship evolves in a natural and believable way. Hannah becomes increasingly drawn to Fox, but her fear of being just another fleeting conquest makes her hesitant. At the same time, Fox begins to reevaluate his approach to relationships, longing to shed the “player” label and find something genuine and lasting.
Tessa Bailey manages to create a story full of warmth and humor, yet also with moments of vulnerability and introspection. It’s more than just a romance; it’s an exploration of trust, healing, and overcoming stereotypes.
The romantic tension is masterfully built, and the dialogues are full of sparks. One of the book’s strengths is the way the author portrays the evolution of feelings between the two, making us feel every step of their emotional journey.
The only reason I didn’t give it a full five stars is that, at times, the pacing slows, and some moments feel a bit predictable. Nevertheless, the ending is satisfying and leaves the reader with a sense of fulfillment and joy.
