Mi-a plăcut enorm „Regatul flăcărilor argintii”. Eram nerăbdătoare să ajung la povestea Nestei și a lui Cassian și să aflu ce se ascunde în spatele tensiunii dintre ei. Cartea m-a prins repede, dar cel mai mult m-a bucurat faptul că am avut ocazia să o cunosc pe Nesta dintr-o perspectivă nouă.
După ce a fost transformată în nemuritoare de către Cazan, Nesta poartă în ea o putere veche și înfricoșătoare, pe care nu și-a dorit-o și pe care încă nu știe cum să o stăpânească. Își ascunde suferința în spatele furiei, tăcerii și replicilor aspre, ținându-i la distanță chiar și pe cei care vor să o ajute. Pentru mine, a fost emoționant să văd că sub această atitudine dură se află multă durere și teamă. Povestea ne arată treptat ce a rănit-o și cât de greu îi este să vorbească despre lucrurile pe care le poartă în suflet.
Cassian nu renunță ușor la ea. Între el și Nesta apar certuri, provocări și momente în care atracția dintre ei devine tot mai greu de ignorat. Mi-a plăcut felul în care relația lor se construiește pas cu pas: niciunul nu este perfect, iar apropierea lor vine la pachet cu neîncredere, vulnerabilitate și multe încercări. Cassian o împinge pe Nesta să-și înfrunte limitele, dar în același timp îi oferă spațiul și sprijinul de care are nevoie pentru a începe să se ridice.
Drumul ei spre vindecare nu este simplu și nici rapid. Antrenamentele alături de Cassian și timpul petrecut cu Emerie și Gwyn o ajută să-și recapete treptat puterea și să descopere că nu trebuie să treacă singură prin tot ce o apasă. Pe măsură ce învață să-și privească rănile cu mai mult curaj, Nesta începe să le încurajeze și pe cele din jur să-și înfrunte propriile temeri. Mi-a plăcut mult această schimbare: nu devine dintr-odată alt om, ci face pași mici, uneori dificili, spre o versiune mai împăcată și mai puternică a ei.
În același timp, pericolul se apropie din nou de Prythian. Nesta și Cassian sunt prinși într-o lume în care magia veche, artefactele primejdioase și dușmanii rămași după război pot schimba totul. Personajele trebuie să găsească o cale de a se pregăti pentru o nouă amenințare, să-și construiască strategia și să păstreze alianțele de care depind. Mi-a plăcut că povestea îmbină această tensiune cu momentele personale ale Nestei, astfel încât lupta ei interioară să conteze la fel de mult ca pericolele din jur.
Pentru mine, „Regatul flăcărilor argintii” este o carte despre durerea pe care uneori o ascundem, despre curajul de a cere ajutor și despre puterea de a merge mai departe după ce ai fost rănit. Nesta învață să fie mai blândă cu ea însăși, dar și să-și apere locul și demnitatea. Povestea mi-a amintit că vindecarea nu înseamnă să uiți ce ți s-a întâmplat, ci să nu mai lași acele răni să hotărască în locul tău.
Sunt iremediabil îndrăgostită de seria „Regatul spinilor și al trandafirilor”, iar acest volum mi-a oferit exact povestea pe care o așteptam: intensă, emoționantă și plină de personaje de care ajungi să te atașezi. Îi ofer cinci stele și abia aștept să aflu ce urmează în următorul volum.
A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J. Maas (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #5)
I absolutely loved „A Court of Silver Flames”. I couldn’t wait to read Nesta and Cassian’s story and find out what lay behind the tension between them. The book drew me in quickly, but what I enjoyed most was getting the chance to see Nesta from a new perspective.
After the Cauldron transformed her into High Fae, Nesta carries within her an ancient and terrifying power she never wanted and still doesn’t know how to control. She hides her pain behind anger, silence, and sharp remarks, keeping even the people who want to help her at a distance. It moved me to see that beneath her tough exterior lies so much pain and fear. The story gradually reveals what has hurt her and how difficult it is for her to talk about the things she carries inside.
Cassian doesn’t give up on her easily. Their relationship is filled with arguments, challenges, and moments when the attraction between them becomes harder and harder to ignore. I loved the way their relationship develops step by step: neither of them is perfect, and their growing closeness comes with mistrust, vulnerability, and plenty of challenges. Cassian pushes Nesta to confront her limits, while also giving her the space and support she needs to begin picking herself back up.
Her path to healing is neither simple nor quick. Training with Cassian and spending time with Emerie and Gwyn help her gradually regain her strength and discover that she doesn’t have to face everything weighing on her alone. As she learns to look at her wounds with greater courage, Nesta begins encouraging those around her to face their own fears, too. I loved this transformation: she doesn’t suddenly become a different person, but takes small, sometimes difficult steps toward becoming a more at-peace and stronger version of herself.
At the same time, danger is once again drawing closer to Prythian. Nesta and Cassian find themselves caught in a world where ancient magic, dangerous artifacts, and enemies left behind after the war could change everything. The characters must find a way to prepare for a new threat, devise a strategy, and preserve the alliances they depend on. I liked how the story weaves this tension together with Nesta’s personal struggles, making her inner battle matter just as much as the dangers around her.
To me, „A Court of Silver Flames” is a book about the pain we sometimes hide, the courage it takes to ask for help, and the strength to keep going after you’ve been hurt. Nesta learns to be kinder to herself, while also standing up for her place and her dignity. The story reminded me that healing doesn’t mean forgetting what happened to you; it means no longer letting those wounds make your decisions for you.
I’m hopelessly in love with the „A Court of Thorns and Roses” series, and this book gave me exactly the story I was hoping for: intense, moving, and full of characters you can’t help growing attached to. I’m giving it five stars and can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book.
